This is taken from the second Gorges session. Gorges was almost a shared idea between Brigid, Dave and myself in that we each were looking, independently, to do something like this. The original vision (from a dream of Dave's) was for he and I to play two droning harmoniums with Brigid singing over them.

This track is atypical of the earlier recordings, in terms of instruments - just banjo and voices, and with Gavin providing ringing bells. But the same spirit - of revelling in the possibilities of making noise in such a space - runs through this as in those other recordings, which will appear in full on the first Gorges album at the end of February/early March.
